Please Take Notice
Pave Black Asphalt strives to provide the best quality asphalt construction, but sometimes mistakes do happen. If they do, we will do our best to come to a realistic agreement and make good on our word.
Common Questions:
Q. What if the asphalt cracks?
A. Yes, asphalt does crack. It is expected that asphalt will eventurally crack. We will do our best for you to minimize stray cracks. We do everything we can with grading and compacting asphalt but there is no guarantee that the asphalt will not crack.
Q. What if the color or texture doesn't turn out as expected?
A. It is unrealistic to expect precisely matched texture or coloring of your asphalt to a showroom sample, existing asphalt pavement, or a neighbor's project. Texture can vary with timing, process and material. It should be expected for hand work to look different than paved work. You should reasonably expect asphalt coloring to be different compared to exsiting work. Most variations will fade with time.
Q. Do you fix damaged lawns or install final landscaping?
A. We can, if contracted. But this both are not included in our asphalt paving contracts, unless stated. We try to avoid as much damage to your lawn as possible. If you are concerned, please ask us for a quote for final landscaping.
Q. Can customers withhold payments?
A. Payments to be made as follows: 50% to schedule project and balance due upon completion/final invoice. Withholding payment for any reason is not acceptable.
If you have any questions about concrete, please contact us and we will try provide an answer!

Care Guideline of your new asphalt pavement.
- Do not drive on your new asphalt for 2-days of install or longer if temperatures are above 80 degrees. Asphalt is a pliable surface covering and will soften and harden as temperatures rise and fall. *Do not expect asphalt to be as hard as concrete.
- Do not park on your new asphalt for 2-days of install or longer if temperatures are above 80 degrees. For the first 3 months, we recommend using 12"x12"x1/2" plywood pads underneath tires and objects placed on the pavement to distribute weight and eliminate depressions.
- Backfill and compact edges within 14-days of install. Since asphalt is a flexible surface covering and does not have structural strength, the edges of the pavement need to be backfilled in order to maintain an edge. Do not drive on or off the edges of your pavement.
- Although, efforts are made to avoid puddles in your pavement, depressions that hold water or bird baths are inevitable depending n the natural slope and drainage of your ground. Company can not guarantee water movement if pitch is less than 1.5%.
- Asphalt texture can vary. Your pavement can look smoother in some areas then in other areas.
- In order to seal oils in your pavement we recommend sealcoat new asphalt the following year after install. This will make for a longer-lasting and smoother pavement.
