Asphalt Apprentice / Training Job: Entry-level role designed for individuals new to the trade. Learn the fundamentals of asphalt paving through on-the-job training and mentorship.
Asphalt Labor Job: Hands-on roles supporting paving crews. Includes shoveling, raking (luting), edge cutting, hand compaction, site cleanup, and traffic control.
Asphalt Paver Operator Job: Operates key paving equipment including asphalt pavers, rollers, skid steers, loaders, graders, and mini-excavators. Must have equipment experience and awareness of crew safety and site layout.
Asphalt Hot Roller Operator Job: Operates the primary compaction roller on fresh asphalt. Responsible for achieving proper density and smooth finish while coordinating with the paving crew.
Asphalt Cold Roller Operator Job: Performs final surface compaction on cooled asphalt. Ensures a smooth and durable driving surface, often as part of the finishing crew.
Asphalt Foreman: Supervises daily jobsite activities. Manages labor and equipment, ensures safety protocols are followed, and maintains high production and quality standards.
CDL Drivers Jobs (Class A & B): Transports materials and equipment to and from job sites. Includes operating dump trucks, semi-trucks with trailers, and straight trucks. Must meet DOT requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
Asphalt Grading Foreman: Leads the crew responsible for subgrade preparation and fine grading. Ensures proper slope, drainage, and base compaction before paving begins.
Asphalt Paving Foreman: Directs the asphalt crew on site. Oversees paver setup, rolling patterns, joint matching, and jobsite logistics to ensure consistent quality and production.
Project Manager / Scheduler: Coordinates project timelines, materials, equipment, and crews. Works closely with estimators and foremen to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Office / Administration: Supports internal operations, scheduling, documentation, and communication across departments. Requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Bookkeeper / Accounting: Handles accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and job costing. Works with company leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Asphalt Sales Job: Generates new business and closes contracts for residential, commercial, and municipal paving projects. Builds relationships with clients and supports project handoff to estimating and operations.
Asphalt Estimator Job: Prepares accurate bids and proposals for residential, commercial, and municipal paving projects. Builds relationships with clients and supports project handoff to operations.
