We’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our paving team as Asphalt Shovelers.
This is one of the most important support roles on the crew — helping to place, move, and clean up asphalt so the job gets done safely and with precision. It’s physical work, but if you like staying active and being outdoors, this could be the right job for you.

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our paving team as Asphalt Shovelers.
This is one of the most important support roles on the crew — helping to place, move, and clean up asphalt so the job gets done safely and with precision. It’s physical work, but if you like staying active and being outdoors, this could be the right job for you.
🔨 What You’ll Do:
- Shovel and distribute hot asphalt during paving operations
- Remove excess material and clean edges for clean transitions
- Help set up and tear down each job site
- Assist in maintaining tools and keeping equipment clean
- Support operators and laborers throughout the job
- Follow direction from your foreman and stay focused on the task
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- No experience required – we’ll teach you
- Strong work ethic and the ability to stay productive all day
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Able to work in heat and changing weather
- Respectful, coachable, and ready to learn
- Dependable transportation to job sites or shop
💵 Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $18–$22/hr based on experience and performance
- Full-time seasonal work with opportunity for overtime
- Weekly pay
