You’ll lead a skilled crew responsible for removing old asphalt, prepping sites for new pavement, and maintaining production from start to finish. - Supervise and coordinate all milling crew activities
- Operate or oversee milling machines, loaders, and dump trucks
- Ensure safety protocols and traffic control plans are in place
- Communicate with paving foremen and project managers on timing and specs
- Track production, load tickets, and field reports
- Manage start-up, cleanup, and daily crew meetings
- Train and develop laborers and operators for career growth
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of milling or asphalt experience required
- 1+ year of crew leadership or foreman-level experience
- Knowledge of milling equipment, layout, and production planning
- Ability to manage people, equipment, and changing site conditions
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Calm under pressure, clear communicator, and problem solver
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and jobsite professionalism
💵 Pay & Perks:
- $28–$35/hr based on experience and leadership ability
- Weekly pay + overtime available
- Full-time seasonal work
